Slick Rick

**Slick Rick** is a recurring call-in character whose attempts to explain his latest problem usually reveal that he caused something far worse. His continuing history includes jail, probation, community service, restraining orders, courtroom self-incrimination, disastrous dating, vehicle collisions, cruise-ship confinement, international incidents, and a remarkably flexible understanding of personal responsibility.

A major Slick Rick storyline follows his Christmas trip to Gridtown, where an alleged escape room expanded into coordinates, smashed windows, a cat-food factory, hypnotic messages, and conflicting reports about whether he was ever in danger. Bingo often serves as his reluctant adviser while Rick turns ordinary questions into increasingly elaborate confessions.
