Scooty
**Scooty** is Bingo’s brown tabby cat and a recurring presence in *halfwayokay*. Bingo first described him by name in Episode 269 as a friendly outdoor cat whom he fed, had neutered, and hoped to shelter through the winter. By Episode 274 Scooty was appearing inside Bingo’s home and on camera, and subsequent Pupdates followed veterinary visits, feeding routines, toys, beds, litter-box experiments, weight, attention-seeking, and his habit of interrupting the show.
Scooty Cam
**Scooty Cam** is the informal live view Bingo uses when he turns or moves a camera toward Scooty. It can become a quick check-in or a longer detour as Bingo calls Scooty over, carries him into frame, follows him around the room, or lets chat react to what he is doing. The image above comes from Episode 275: Slow Blink At Scooty.
The virtual Scooty
Scooty also became part of Rank’em Up Rodeo’s pixel-art world. The virtual apartment originally featured a cat named Pixel; the game later announced that Pixel had evolved into Scooty. Bingo regularly catches and cooks fish or turkey for this virtual Scooty, connecting his real cat’s show lore with the Pokémon ranking game.
