Episode 73: Wayward Bingo

Original air date: November 7, 2018

Episode overview

Bingo pitches a once-per-episode supportive-play-along agreement and then the nested Li'l Shermies format while Danny responds as a mock judge; the judges declare themselves out, with no real deal, investment, winner, or prize. Nested inside Shark Tank, Bingo launches a communal world-building format for an initially undefined establishment called Li'l Shermies; only the name and establishment status are fixed, while go-karts, slushies, a death, and other illustrative details are explicitly withdrawn or hypothetical. The first Mutant Roundup profiles the public video persona Ed Shipek, also presented as Mr. Sunshine, through several clips; Bingo ultimately says he likes and approves of the subject, but this is a qualitative verdict rather than a comparative ranking, contest win, or prize.

Verified episode facts

• **Soundboard and future voicemail status**: The Bingo soundboard is a recurring interruption device rather than a separately titled segment. The hosts request thirty future soundboard-imitation voicemails and future Li'l Shermies submissions, but Episode 73 contains zero actual voicemail playbacks, calls, or outgoing attempts and does not establish the next episode's runtime outcome.
• **Shark tank outcome**: The Shark Tank-style pitch frame ends with the mock judges declaring themselves out. The joking twenty-dollar bridge loan with impossible terms is not a real agreement, investment, payment, winner, or prize.
• **Supportive play-along proposal status**: Bingo proposes that Danny provide one supportive play-along response per episode, and the idea is tentatively accepted inside the mock pitch. Episode 73 does not establish a durable recurring rule or later compliance.
• **Li'l shermies origin**: Episode 73 launches Li'l Shermies as a communal thought exercise whose future participants may add canonical details. The only fixed facts in this episode are the name Li'l Shermies and that it is an establishment; no current listener submission is received or played.
• **Li'l shermies revoked examples**: Go-karts, slushies, a butcher-shop death, and a global-warming store are illustrative or hypothetical ideas that the hosts explicitly withdraw or leave unaccepted. They must not be surfaced as Episode 73 Li'l Shermies canon.
• **Jughead reading classification**: Bingo performs a random-page Jughead and Friends Digest reading and attempts to explain the panels, but the activity has no stable proper show-segment title or identifying sting and ends when its visual-medium problem prompts a break. It is an untitled structured one-off, not a formal segment, contest, winner, or prize.
• **Mutant roundup debut and outcome**: The first Mutant Roundup profiles Ed Shipek, also presented in the reviewed clips as Mr. Sunshine. Bingo ends by saying he likes and approves of the subject because of a professional-wrestler-like vibe; this is attributed qualitative commentary, not a comparative ranking, contest winner, or prize.
• **Mutant roundup source and privacy limits**: Biographical, weather, business, political, and other statements about the subject or people in reviewed clips remain attributed source-media discussion and are not independently verified archive facts. All phone numbers, contact details, private-video contacts, and requests to call people shown in clips are excluded.
• **Calendar promotion status**: Bingo says he is participating again in the Twelve Musketeers calendar and describes limited copies and partial sales. Preserve this as a dated on-air promotion, not independently verified current availability, inventory, sales, or giveaway outcome.
