Episode 264: There's Nothing In My Dreams

Original air date: September 1, 2025

Episode overview

Bingo unraveled over a persistent audio echo, threatened to eat viewers’ livers, and struggled through the technically broken opening. Bingo discussed the first official Monday show, Guided by Voices, Heedfest, Dayton music, recent activities, and community submissions while the echo continued. Bingo explored the Canadian children’s group Girls With Attitude, listened to several songs including ‘There’s Nothing in My Dreams,’ and examined the group’s surviving online history. Bingo reviewed several real and fake Garfield submissions, including a western strip, homemade printouts, and an animated Garfield clip. Chat chose Iditarod: The Last Great Race on Earth over RoboCop 2; Bingo opened dog-sled cards that inexplicably focused on mushers rather than dogs. Bingo opened a blind-box Kewpie collectible hoping for the teapot or frog and received his least-wanted option, a Kewpie holding a ‘Cutie Pie’ heart. The random-number generator selected obiwan45459 at position 25 from 28 subscribers to receive the Iditarod cards and prize-bundle extras.
