Episode 115: Proto Minkus
Original air date: September 5, 2019
Episode overview
Danny reports Andrew Luck's retirement, the hosts discuss injuries and football money, and Indianapolis's Andrew Luck Day closes the feature; Listener Checkup occurs inside it. Nested within Football News, the hosts select Matt Miller for a listener checkup requiring a Friendship Club comment within five business days or a dark-room viewing of Eight Legged Freaks; no result or prize occurs in the episode. The hosts debut Girlfriend Gripes and trade complaints about nearly empty food containers, podcast support, trash in a fruit bowl, and the drive to Cincinnati. Bingo uses seven nominal minutes to finish his story about Cincinnati's Brew Ha-Ha and missing Dave Chappelle's Dayton event while Danny repeatedly pauses or disrupts the timer premise. In the first Bingo's Video Showcase, the hosts watch and dissect the full failed sitcom pilot Where's Rodney?, cataloging its recycled jokes, plot holes, character types, and Rodney Dangerfield's unexplained role.
