Bruce
**Bruce** is the co-host of *halfwayokay* and one of the show’s central recurring characters.

Within the show’s lore, Bruce is a **Boglin** whose life began in the primordial soup. His ancient monster origins sit alongside an everyday domestic and emotional life: he lives in Bingo’s world, attends monster school, develops friendships, goes away to camp, makes crafts, gives advice, and regularly becomes the subject of calls and audience concern. The contrast between cosmic Boglin history and ordinary growing-up problems is a continuing part of his character.
As co-host, Bruce joins Bingo in on-air conversations, reacts to stories and audience questions, helps settle show decisions, and participates in recurring comedy and improv bits. He can serve as a comic counterpoint to Bingo, but the show also gives him sincere conversations and continuing storylines of his own.
Bruce’s continuing storylines include monster school and his time at Camp Winkler, where calls and updates followed his friendships, homesickness, personal growth, and eventual return. Callers frequently ask to speak with him directly, sometimes seeking advice or checking on his well-being.
